…even though the content isn’t so much “carefully curated” as “posted by anyone who asked for an invite and signed up for an account.” But still!
(Friendly reminder that we’re now sending out 750 invites once a day, and there are 131 people in the queue as of this post. There are virtually no wait times anymore!)
I keep looking at “carefully curated” and wondering what they mean, because if there was any limit on what could be posted, quality-wise, half my own work wouldn’t be there. XD
But I think they meant “curated” in a library/organization sense, which means they’re praising the tag wrangling. Yes, Time Magazine just praised the volunteer work of all of the coders who built the wrangling interface & filters and all 100-something wranglers! ARE WE AWESOME OR WHAT?

Too bad I can’t call my mom about this and brag….
(Also, we’re open for wrangling volunteers now, and hopefully will be for a few more days than last time. Come join the team and hang out with us while we discuss whether it should be “blowjobs” or “blow jobs” and what to do with stories where Tumblr has a torrid affair with Twitter behind LJ’s back!)
